The Conselleria de Turisme (Valencia Regional Ministry of Tourism) has made a firm commitment to mobile technology, always guided by Mobimento.
Since the Tourist Movil project was presented at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) in 2007, Mobimento has created several tourist guides and conducted various proximity marketing campaigns.
You can see all the guides that Mobimento has created for the Conselleria by visiting the Tourist Movil web page.
In order to promote them, there are sign-posted Bluetooth points at Valencia Airport, so that when tourists arrive to the city, they can download the tourist guides and carry all the information on their mobile device.
Cocentaina Trade Fair
The Cocentaina Trade Fair is THE TRADE FAIR par excellence.
The Trade Fair has always been an investment in the future and the vanguard for a long time now, namely 663 years. Every year and every fair introduces the latest innovations in each sector, guaranteed by the quality of exhibitors and the organisers’ awareness of new technologies.
This Fair introduces MovilFira, the Fair on your mobile telephone. A complete application that provides users with all the information related to the Fair on their mobile phone.
What is Mobile Festival?
Mobile Festival is a powerful, but also user-friendly and easy-to-handle application that includes everything this spectacular event offers, ranging from the most professional aspects to those which are pure leisure.
We will able to use our mobile telephone to locate exhibitors, learn the “Recommended Routes”, consult the calendar with detailed information about the various activities and when and where they will take place, find out what CiberFestival offers, tourist information about the town, a complete address book with all the necessary telephone numbers, such as: medical services, taxis, local police,… which are just a click away, as it is not necessary to type in the number.
And maps… two maps, one so as not to get lost at the Trade Fair and be able to locate the Arab and Medieval Markets, or the public parking facility at a glance and the other to avoid getting lost when visiting Cocentaina, including a map showing how to “get there”.

This service is completely free and can be used as many times as required. The application will remain in the mobile telephone until the user deletes it and can be forwarded to friends at the click of a button. So, thanks to you, they will not miss out on anything at the Trade Fair either… something they will surely appreciate.
How do I get Mobile Festival?
We have set up three easy methods:
1.- Through the Town Council corporate website. All you have to do is type in your mobile telephone number and you will be sent the application to download.
2.- At the Trade Fair, go to the information points and receive the application via Bluetooth.
3.- Send an SMS with the word “fira” to 5110
The oldest trade fair, the most modern trade fair. Enjoy!!!
