Sending SMS
Mobimento’s Web Environment for sending SMS is a simple Web application which enables users to send SMS to mobile devices using the Internet. The application is intuitive and very easy to use and requires no technical skills on behalf of users.
Users access the environment with Internet Explorer and log in with their user name and password.
It allows users to work with a database of contacts (Address Book) that they create themselves within the application with the fields they decide and which is stored in MOBIMENTO’s Web servers, and also to import and export contacts and work with a database stored by the client.
Users can put Address Book contacts into “Message Groups” to make multiple SMS texting easier and avoid having to perform additional searches.
The application also allows users to filter contacts in the Address Book in accordance with both standard fields and those created by the user, simplifying contact searching for multiple SMS texting.
Field data can be recovered to send personalised SMS to each addressee.
Example: “Dear...<name>, I would like to inform you that...”
Messages can be sent immediately or easily programmed to be sent at a later date or as frequently as the user indicates.
The sender can be personalised, so that the addressee recognises who or what organisation has sent the SMS.
The application has a detailed historical record of messages sent, as well as a complete system of transmission statistics.
The system enables users to create message templates to avoid having to rewrite frequently used texts.
